Released on November 11, 1994 in North America, it made $105 million USD. Internationally it
made $221 million USD when it was released worldwide. And after it has long left the theaters?
It has made $45 million USD in video rentals alone. (Variety 1995)
Produced by Warner Brothers, it was David Geffen, who put the movie together. And it was
through the talented eye of the director, Neil Jordan who gave the script that Anne Rice wrote
the beauty it deserved. The movie brought together big named actors Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt,
Antonio Banderas and Christian Slater with Oscar nominated actor Stephen Rea. It also introduced
the amazingly unknown child actor, Kirsten Dunst.
Queen of the Damned will not be covered here because Louis was left out of this film.
